Due to the timing restrictions of printing banners and apparel in time for competition events, Nashoba Robotics reserves the right to push this public recognition benefit into the following competition year instead of the current one.
Fundraising and Expenses
In addition to the generous monetary support we receive from our corporate and individual sponsors, we run fundraisers throughout the year to engage the community for help with meeting our build and competition season expenses. While some of our expenses are predictable, most are not, and throughout the year might include costs, such as:
- Raw materials for our own fabrication of parts to be used in our robot design
- Manufactured parts purchased to be used in our robot design
- Registration fees to participate in our competition events
- Maintenance of our older robots for sponsor and community outreach
- Construction materials to develop our own field elements for practice
